Presented by Blue Grass Community Foundation, the University of Kentucky, the Lexington Public Library and our community partners, The Color of Law and Just Action: An Evening with the Authors will feature a keynote address by Leah Rothstein about the Rothsteins' books and tool kit for activism and advocacy, with myriad real-life examples from communities, groups and individuals that have confronted segregation-related challenges from legal, real estate, banking and commercial development standpoints. The keynote will be preceded by a short program featuring the Uniting Voices Lexington children’s choir and will be followed by a conversation with Richard Rothstein, Leah Rothstein and Renee Shaw, KET’s director of public affairs.

Please join us on Tuesday, October 24 at 6:30pm in the University of Kentucky Gatton Student Center Worsham Cinema for a critical conversation about how we can be empowered to address the legacy of government-sanctioned segregation. By starting with achievable local victories, we can build a national movement that can remedy our unconstitutional racial landscape.

This event is free, but a reservation is required. As seating in Worsham Cinema is limited, please release your ticket if your plans change.

FREE parking is available in the UK Cornerstone Garage. The Cornerstone Garage has an entrance and exit on South Limestone and on Upper Street.
