Dr. Michael Preacely, acclaimed baritone and university music educator, serves as Artistic Director of Uniting Voices Lexington. As a singer he has received critical acclaim for his performances across United States and abroad, including features with New York-based Opera Noire, Butler University Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Opera, Opera Company Philadelphia, Opera Memphis, Kentucky Opera, Cleveland Opera, Lyric Opera Cleveland, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Cleveland Pops, the Cincinnati Pops, and the American Spiritual Ensemble. Dr. Preacely received his Bachelor of Music degree from Oberlin College and his Master of Music and Doctor of Arts degrees from University of Kentucky’s College of Fine Arts.
